THE ULTIMATE MERITOCRACY

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to another year of the Christopher Peter Review! I thank you for your viewership last year and hope that you continue to join us this year!

Sports provide such a finite ending towards the combined effort, strategy, belief, and support of groups of players, coaches, leaders, and fan bases. Either you win and feel success or you lose and need to rethink your approach and reason to be in the arena.

All the while, the games take place in a special economic system that employs millions, both inside the teams and many more who may never step foot in a stadium. There is no business like sports business. Show business is good as well. But sports are the only proven commodity to never flop or lose value.

In this podcast episode, I look at the business of sports and why we love the industry like no other. Then, I take part in a conversation regarding current events and whether some ancillary parts of the industry are truly helpful.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to another year of the Christopher Peter Review! I thank you for your viewership last year and hope that you continue to join us this year!

The new year offers us the opportunity to reset and get back on track in terms of our overall goals and objectives. For instance, if we are not at our desired weight, we use the start of the new year to start the path towards that end goal.

Our years are defined by the big moments and events that we remember through time. Different outlooks per person. In this podcast episode, I take a high level look at what our societal resolutions should be, offer a friendly reminder of who we need to be, and more.

TOP CONTENDERS

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review.

Before we close out the year, I decided to look at where we stand with the upcoming election to choose our next president. Besides the two controversial frontrunners.

Please experience this podcast episode below where I also discuss the potential for either Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis.

THE BIG DEAL

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review.

History does not always repeat itself. For Dodgers fans, they hope that the team can continue to defy what has been somewhat of a course for the sport of baseball in terms of big signings not really performing to expectations after the record contracts.

The NBA wanted to emulate the in season competitions that take place in global soccer with its inaugural In-Season Tournament. Interesting concept but I discuss an important difference and what I hope they might be able to do in the future.

Please experience this podcast episode below where I also discuss the sad state of my favorite football team and bad political precedent impacted by sports.

CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review.

Even in the most challenging times, I always believe that we must hold out hope that our tomorrows will be better than our todays. Even if that hope appears to be false hope. There is always the chance to convert adversity into opportunity. Just more obstacles and constraints.

Many American entrepreneurs have found ways to turn misfortune or difficult circumstance into the foundation for some of the greatest institutions in our society. Innovation is generally borne out of necessity. Depending on how the economy turns in the next crucial year, many will have to show the same resolve and ingenuity as the past generation had to.

Please experience this podcast episode below where I discuss our economy, our lack of appreciate for achievement, and other current events.

APPRECIATION

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review.

Despite all the challenges in our society, the adversity in our personal lives, and the chaos we experience each and every day, there are still many things to be thankful for. Even when our life or careers are not going as planned, we still can appreciate our blessings and not overlook the good.

It is very easy to not see the forest through the trees because we see what we want to see. Appreciate what you have accomplished even though there is more to go. Be appreciative of those around you even if they are not your definition of perfect.

Please experience this podcast episode below where I discuss appreciation and recent current events.

CURRENT EVENTS

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review.

What is the right side of history? Supporting the side that prevailed in their conflicts? Or is it standing on the moral side of an argument? The saying to the victors comes the spoils and the ability to write history. But also the good will always prevail against bad over time. Supporting the moral side and ensuring they are the prevailing side is the being on the right side of history.

There is so much conflicts in our world after a surprising four year calm. War in Ukraine, Israel, and other conflicts worldwide. Once again, the United States is competing with our global allies against our collective foes to ensure that democracy, freedom, and sovereignty prevail in the face of oppression, terrorism, and radical ideology.

Please experience this podcast episode below where I discuss recent current events and more.

THE REAL ISSUES REAL SOLUTIONS

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review.

The purpose of having political debates is to have a forum, where political candidates can introduce themselves to the audience and pool of prospective voters and offer ideas on how to solve the problems they choose to solve. Right? Rarely do you really see a candidate want to address every issue out there. Rightfully so?

For many people, it is easy to point out what is wrong with society. Inflation is harming the economic outcomes of our households, the viability of many businesses, and the financial markets. Crime is plaguing our communities and making some of our great cities unlivable and no longer suited for business operations. Illegal immigration is draining resources for local government, putting millions of households at risk, and posing a national security threat. But what are the solutions that will actually work?

Please experience this podcast episode below where the top issues facing our society is discussed and potentially viable solutions are offered.

CULTURE CLASHES

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, where I discuss salient current events.

The American culture is not and should be defined by one group or another, but by the unifying acknowledgement that America offers citizens the freedom to live their lives in the manner of their choosing, the opportunity to pursue their economic path based on their personal passion and ambitions, and the diversity to exist in the manner of your choosing.

There will always be some level of conflict related towards clashing cultural views, but we must remember that we can agree to disagree and be fine with that. We should fall for the narrative that people must embrace the traditional norms handed down over time or the short term obsession of the presence. Rather people can do what they feel works for them as long as it is self sustainable and does not infringe on another from living their life in the manner of their choosing.

The values of those on the coast are not better than those in the Midwest or vice versa. That line of thinking is not inclusive. Americans have the freedom to live a life of their choosing and should not expect others to follow. We are all consequences of our choices and attitudes and we have to accept that.

In this podcast episode, I discuss a recent event that sparked a culture debate. Also, I give a brand review of one of our largest financial institutions. Finally, the team comes together to discuss recent current events.

OUR HISTORY OUR PRESENT

My name is Christopher Peter. Welcome to The Christopher Peter Review.

I always discuss the importance of travel to help shape or reinforce our perspectives on life and important issues. I believe there is a lot to learn when seeing how others live and engaging with people who have different backgrounds. It also makes you appreciate what you have and where you were born into. I certainly felt that way when visiting my parents’ homelands.

Even if you do not leave our borders or continent, there are some diversity inside our society that can help broaden your horizon and understand why some people value certain things more than others in certain regions. Understand how and why lifestyles differ throughout the nation. And better appreciate our similarities when you see our differences.

Over the past few years, I have taken the time to tour some of our national parks and learn more about our history. Also, I took some time to read up more about our history beyond just what I remembered from school and documentaries I have watched over the years. In this podcast episode, I discuss some quick lessons from my trip as well as other recent current events.
