BALANCED SOLUTIONS

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

Beginning the new year by offering a balanced perspective on recurring issues that can be somewhat divisive in our national discourse. While many people automatically flock to the ideological positions that they align with, there are better approaches to address some of these issues that can bridge the divide.

Please listen to my discussion above.

POLITICAL BRANDS

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

The state of our leading political parties are in completely different states. The re-election of President Donald Trump with a dominant electoral college and popular vote victory has energized and expanded Republicans, attracting independents to align with the party.

On the other hand, Democrats are clearly at odds with the American public. And worse of all, they are viewed as dishonest, at fault for the current mess domestically and globally, and rudderless.

Please listen to my discussion regarding the state of each party.

THE GREATEST POLITICAL COMEBACK

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

Move over President Grover Cleveland, President Donald Trump becomes the second president with non-consecutive terms, winning an election victory that was even more historic than his original greatest upset victory that led to his first term.

Trump won more electoral votes and the popular vote this time around. In addition, Trump will enjoy a MAGA majority as Republicans won the Senate and retained the House of Representatives.

Please listen to my discussion regarding the outcome of this historic election.

THE FINAL ARGUMENT

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

Election Day is upon us and many people have already cast ballots. Many people already know who they are going to vote for, but some still are making up their minds, either for the candidate or even to vote at all.

Please listen to my final argument for this critical election.

CLEAR AND OBVIOUS

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

The policy positions and record of each candidate is pretty clear. We know what the voters want in a new agenda and we know what is being offered to them.

In this podcast episode, I discuss the remaining key issues voters feel are important. Please experience Clear & Obvious below.

THE CLEAR ECONOMIC CHOICE

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

In the past, elections were between candidates that generally agreed on a core set of principles and policy dogma that made little real difference on who was elected. Now, the gap is real and obvious. Elections have consequences and costs.

In this podcast episode, I discuss the economy from a perspective of the ideas put forth by the candidates and what would actually work to elevate our current economic direction. Please experience The Clear Economic Choice below.

MAKING COLLEGE AFFORDABLE AGAIN

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

The cost of college is something that may become an economic barrier for many in America, who choose this path in order to open up more opportunity in life. While the costs are skyrocketing, I firmly believe that finding a useful idiot to take over the payments is not the right approach.

The factors that impact cost must be addressed while improving how the colleges manage their cash flow to impact the rising tuition bills can be helpful shift in dogma with this critical issue. Shifting the burden has never been effective public policy. Please experience my discussion below.

MY SUPER BOWL PICK

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

The biggest sports league in the world just kicked off its new season with the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Baltimore Ravens. In addition, the NFL made its debut in the Brazil market, where my Philadelphia Eagles take on the Green Bay Packers.

In the podcast episode below, I make my picks for this year in terms of who will win each conference and the Super Bowl. Also, I discuss the big storylines in football including a new playoff system for the second most popular sports league. Please see if my picks make sense and if my suggestion will help facilitate the NCAA to where it needs to be.

THINK CRITICALLY

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

The skill of critical thinking can help a person make the right choices in their lives. Make the right choices in their economic decisions, like changing jobs or staying at your current position. Choices like to live in one community or another. To decide what school to pursue your degree at compared to other institutions with the same program.

The skills used to make the right choices in other areas of your life should be applied to the political decisions you make. Because there are candidates telling people not to overthink the choice come this November. But critical thinking can help you see through the narratives and find substance that you need to make the right choice.

In the podcast episode below, I discuss the importance of political critical thinking. If we stop and think for a moment, consider how much better our society could be if that happened. Please experience my thoughts on critical thinking and applying it to our society.

OUR CURATED SOCIETY

My name is Christopher Peter and welcome to The Christopher Peter Review, which is your source for the both the economic and political side of life.

There are moments where reality imitates art. Or political actors emulate the actions they see from real actors in scripted environments. In movies, the storylines almost always provide happy endings, despite clear holes in the plots or unaccounted for events. But, political theatrics can provide the Trojan horse for many of the issues we face in our current environment.

In the podcast episode below, I discuss the movie theater industry and then we discuss our current political theater. Please experience this special episode below.
